As the CFS financial advisor for SkyOne members, Geoff believes in our philosophy of people helping people. With a collaborative approach, Geoff takes the time to listen and understand members’ needs, and tailors strategies to help them reach their financial goals. He also believes in enriching members with knowledge, providing guidance to navigate the complex world of investments and insurance, and breaking down the jargon so they can make important financial decisions with confidence.
On his approach to assisting members, Geoff said: “It’s my passion to help our members create, grow, and protect their wealth. I’m here to listen and understand their individual needs and concerns, because I know that everyone thinks differently about their money.”
Geoff has earned the prestigious certification of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, meeting the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, which covers financial planning, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning.
He is also highly knowledgeable in federal employee benefits. As a Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant℠ (ChFEBC℠) practitioner, Geoff helps members navigate the complex system of federal employee benefits, including Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) pension, Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) pension, Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), life and health insurance, social security, and more. Air traffic controllers’ benefits have special provisions that differ from other federal employees, and Geoff and his team are well versed in these nuances to help you choose the plans that work best for you.
In addition to serving his individual members, Geoff also provides advice regarding institutional investments for Women in Aviation International (WAI), and the National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA).
A trained artist, Geoff also spends time creating visual art at home. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Grace and their children, Gavin and Ginger. The family enjoys baking together among other projects. “I’ve been blessed with a wonderful wife and amazing children. My family’s support motivates me each day to be a hard-working and devoted Financial Advisor.”
